Thank you to the students and administrators of North Road Elementary School
On Wednesday May 22, 2013 the North Road Elementary students and staff invited our fire department along with the Fenton police department for an appreciation day at their school.
When we arrived, the Student Ambassadors gave us a tour and then lead us to the cafeteria where a lunch and homemade desserts awaited us. After we were done eating the kids had plenty of fun games set up for us to play with them on the playground. There was a potato sack race, basketball shoot out, scooter races, football, hula hoop contests and more.
Fun and games were followed assembly that the students put together. The 5th graders made a nice video presentation for us and the six students were selected to read their personal letters of appreciation to us.
To top it off, we were given gifts and the awarded a “key” to the school. Our firefighters and police officers had a great time and would like to extend our gratitude back to the school with a big THANK YOU!
