Fenton Fire Charity 13th Annual Golf Outing Update

Our Charity hosted its 13th annual charity golf outing presented by Fenton Fire Hall restaurant on Saturday August 17th at the Preserve Golf Club in Fenton.

Having 140 participants, this was our biggest outing to date. The weather was absolutely perfect and a great day for golf.

We started the day with registration, drinks and comradery and as usual, kicked off the event with our annual putting challenge where all contestants gathered around the practice green for a closest to the hole trick shot putting contest.

We had prizes for both men and women’s longest drive as well as closest to the hole par 3.

Stat EMS sponsored our fun hole at #17 where they handed out prizes and hosted a closest to the keg contest where the participant had the chance to take a golf shot at a keg 100yds away while wearing oven mitts.

Acorn Wealth Advisors hosted the golf ball launcher on #9. Contestants could make a donation and use the golf ball launcher for their Tee shot which just about guaranteed a 300yd drive down the middle.

Our women’s auxiliary was driving around throughout the day greeting all the teams, selling 50/50 tickets, and handing out welcome gifts.

The day was finished off with a steak dinner as well as a raffle style auction of some great prizes as well as awards for our first and last place teams, skins winners and winners of our other contests throughout the day.

We would like to thank all of our sponsors, participants, volunteers, and Coyote Preserve golf course for making this another successful outing.
